Dharmendra Health News Live Updates: Veteran actor Dharmendra, 89, has returned home after a brief but concerning stay at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai. The actor, who had been in and out of the hospital for several days, was reportedly in serious condition but stable, according to an industry insider who spoke to PTI on Monday. "Dharamji's health is not in a great state," the source said on condition of anonymity.Contrary to some reports, a representative of Dharmendra’s son, Sunny Deol, clarified that the “Sholay” star was not on ventilator support. Dharmendra’s family, including son Sunny Deol, wife Hema Malini, and daughter Esha Deol, had visited him at the hospital during his stay.While the exact cause of his illness has not been disclosed, sources earlier mentioned that Dharmendra initially visited the hospital for a routine check-up and remained there for further examinations. Following his discharge, the actor will continue his recovery under home care.Wife Hema Malini said that Dharmendra is under observation and is being 'continuously monitored', urging well-wishers to pray for the veteran actor's good health. "I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam ji who is in hospital for observation. He is being continuously monitored and we are all with him. I request you all to pray for his welfare and speedy recovery, Malini posted on X.Apart from family, Bollywood actors Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ameesha Patel and other B-Town celebrities were seen arriving at the hospital, showing their support and love for the veteran star and his family. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was spotted entering the Breach Candy hospital on the evening of November 10 to visit veteran superstar Dharmendra. The actor was seen seated in his car as it made its way through the many photographers positioned outside the hospital. Salman has always expressed his admiration for the veteran superstar. On the professional front, the 89-year-old was last seen in the movie Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya in 2024. The actor is now all set to star next in the movie 'Ikkis', directed by ace director Sriram Raghavan.The superstar has given many blockbuster hits like Sholay (1975), Aaye Din Bahar Ke (1966), Chupke Chupke (1975), Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973), Seeta Aur Geeta (1972), Phool Aur Patthar (1966), Dharam Veer (1977), The Burning Train (1980) and many more.
