Mastiii 4 vs 120 Bahadur Box Office: Farhan Akhtar’s 120 Bahadur has edged past Mastiii 4 at the box office, reversing its slow opening day performance through strong audience reception. Both films released on Friday, Mastiii 4, featuring Vivek Oberoi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aftab Shivdasani, opened better than expected despite harsh reviews, while 120 Bahadur, praised by critics, began on a quieter note.However, word of mouth has powered 120 Bahadur ahead. As per early trade estimates, the military drama has earned Rs 6.25 crore in two days, surpassing the Rs 5.50 crore collected by Mastiii 4. On Saturday, 120 Bahadur brought in Rs 4 crore, around Rs 75 lakh more than Mastiii 4, which collected Rs 2.75 crore.Occupancy TrendsEven with fewer shows, 120 Bahadur posted a stronger hold on Saturday. The film recorded an overall occupancy of 14.26 per cent across 2,705 shows, compared to Mastiii 4’s 10.36 per cent across 2826 shows.Chennai emerged as the best-performing city for 120 Bahadur with 51.25 per cent occupancy from 19 shows. Bengaluru followed at 21.25 per cent across 238 shows. In Mumbai, the film registered 16.50 per cent occupancy over 464 shows, while Delhi–NCR stood at 12.75 per cent from 757 shows.For Mastiii 4, Jaipur delivered the highest occupancy at 13.25 per cent across 115 shows. Mumbai recorded 13 per cent across 472 shows, while Delhi–NCR posted 9.75 per cent across 666 shows.The FilmsMastiii 4, directed by Milap Zaveri, features an ensemble including Arshad Warsi, Nargis Fakhri, Genelia Deshmukh, Elnaaz Norouzi, Ruhi Singh and Shaad Randhawa.120 Bahadur, helmed by Razneesh Ghai, stars Raashii Khanna, Vivan Bhatena and Ankit Siwach alongside Farhan Akhtar.Both films will look to capitalise on the weekend momentum, but early signs indicate that audience support is firmly tilting in favour of 120 Bahadur.
